Our fundamental message is one of self-awareness and authentic happiness.
So much suffering is caused by misunderstanding and fear and our mission is to help reduce the number of people and degree to which we're affected by such.
To promote the concept of 'more happiness and less unnecessary unhappiness', Happier London was officially born in January 2014.
This followed a 30-year-plus immersion into yoga, meditation, stoicism, personal development and deliberate lifestyle design, by our founder Johnathon Martin.
Johnathon’s conscious journey to self-awareness and authentic happiness started with a book called ‘The Power of Positive Thinking’ by Norman Vincent Peale, which he read in 1988.
His life-changing takeaway from that book was the realization that we all have choice, especially in how we look at, and respond to, what comes our way in life.
Reading this book ignited Johnathon’s curiosity about personal freedom, transformation and potential and sowed the seeds for him to dive more deeply into the world’s religions and spiritual traditions in search of meaning, purpose and contentment.
This in-turn led to him becoming a qualified Yoga Teacher, NLP, Personal Transformation and Happiness Coach. Happier London now share the best of the best of these teachings and Johnathons discovered gems with The 5 Pillars of Authentic Happiness.
These 5 pillars contain and blend ancient knowledge and principles with modern research and discoveries to provide you with a practical blue-print for self-awareness and authentic happiness.
